Deposit
Five day crew and skipper certificate stand alone courses require a deposit of 8,000 baht to secure a place on the course. On receipt of this deposit the student will be sent an electronic version of the relevant manual for study before arrival. Any questions raised during pre study are welcomed and a tutor will be happy to respond with explanation or further development of the course material.
Whilst every effort will be made to book accommodation with Ocean Marina Bungalows it sometimes happens that they are not available – in this event alternative accommodation will be booked and if a modest surcharge is required then the student will be informed and additional costs incurred.
Meal cost and availability
The restaurant at OMYC bungalows does not operate after 5 p.m. and students generally make their way to one of the many restaurants in the local community of Ban Amphur where there are excellent high quality sea food restaurants supplied by the local fishing boat fleet. This involves a 1km walk or a ride on a local pick up bus or a journey on a rented motorcycle.
Pattaya
The international renowned night life of Pattaya is just 20 minutes from Ocean Marina by taxi. A 400-500 baht fare will take 4-5 passengers to Waking street for a wild night out.
